We all know the benefits of Charcoal Grills: affordability, portability, and better-tasting meat. But for the longest time, charcoal has come with one nagging problem: the heating process. Many people struggle to learn how to use charcoal, and even for experienced users the process is long and tedious--especially under difficult, windy or wet conditions. With Antares, we aim to make these charcoal frustrations a thing of the past. We are building and designing a two-in-one charcoal grill and chimney, a complete grilling system that works in any weather. The chimney stores the charcoal in a well-ventilated space, with a pocket for kindling under the charcoal bed. This lets you ignite the heating source in a protected area, which in turn ignites the charcoal even if the outside conditions are unfavorable.
